Classic scenario: you drop money on a subscription, look forward to matches, start swiping — and 10 minutes later you see a block screen. Money gone, account dead, support feeding you templates. Sounds like a scam, but for hundreds of users this is harsh reality.
Why do they ban people who just paid?
Pure does not care if you paid. Their security system runs asynchronously from the payment system. The bot checks your digital fingerprint (device fingerprint) only after you start activity. Triggers for instant ban:
- Your hardware matched a previously banned account (most common reason).
- The algorithm did not like your first photo.
- You started liking too aggressively in the first few minutes — the system decided you were a bot.
"Pure does not know about your money at the moment of the check. The bot only sees a hardware match or suspicious behavior patterns" — Artyom, technical specialist.
Can you get your money back?
Asking Pure support for a refund is a dead end. The real chance (around 30%) is a chargeback through Apple or Google. Details in the money back manual.
